Vizconnect is Vizard's tool for connecting displays, trackers, and much more without programming. The visual interface lets you connect devices on-the-fly, see the results immediately in your Vizard render window.
Beyond displays and trackers, you'll see that Vizconnect also supports input devices (e.g., game pads), transports (e.g., driving effect), 3D widgets (e.g., virtual tape measure), avatars (e.g., inverse kinematics), and still much more.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to connect to a device using Vizconnect
-Make sure whatever drivers/ software/ hardware you need for the device you are using is setup. Since we’re just connecting a Vive Pro HMD, we just need to make sure that our Vive Pro is plugged in, SteamVR is installed and running and we have done our room setup.
-We will choose the HTC Vive/SteamVR preset, since that is what we are using. There are many other devices to choose from. In addition to the common presets, you can go to the “Advanced Mode” and choose from over 100 different displays, trackers, input devices and more.
-Run your script and experience it in your chosen device setup
