WorldViz and California Simulation Alliance Partner to Promote the PRISM Simulation Room For Healthcare Training

We are excited to announce a new partnership between WorldViz and the California Simulation Alliance (CSA) to jointly promote the WorldViz PRISM simulation room.

This collaboration brings together WorldViz's cutting-edge virtual simulation technology with CSA's expertise in simulation-based health care education to deliver immersive, effective learning environments for health care training programs. About California Simulation Alliance (CSA)

The California Simulation Alliance, a program of HealthImpact, is a leader in faculty development for simulation educators. Since its inception, CSA has trained over 2,500 simulation faculty members, providing a comprehensive and integrated solution for facilities seeking to develop their simulation education programs. CSA's courses are designed for all levels and focus on interprofessional education, supporting learners as they transition from novice to expert. Their programs are highly interactive and immersive, following the principles of adult learning to ensure the most effective educational experience.

Signature Course Offerings

• Simulation Intensive: This blended course combines asynchronous and synchronous online learning to provide a comprehensive introduction to simulation-based health care education. Participants learn best practices in high-fidelity simulation, focusing on both academic and practice settings. The course covers key theoretical concepts and strategies to create safe, effective learning environments. The curriculum is adaptable to meet the specific needs of the group, progressing from Level 1 basics to Level 3 scenario development and debriefing strategies.
• Advanced Debriefing: In this immersive one-day workshop, participants build on basic debriefing skills using an experiential learning framework. The course includes video clips and live simulation experiences depicting common debriefing challenges, allowing participants to practice and receive feedback to enhance their debriefing competencies.
• Simulation Operations Specialist: Designed to develop highly effective and knowledgeable simulation operations specialists, this course covers simulation-specific technical information, medical and trauma conditions, human body systems, and medical equipment. It also includes content related to ethics, legal, regulatory, and inventory management concepts. The course combines ten hours of online learning through the Simulation Innovation Resource Center (SIRC) and a three-hour self-study manual with a two-day on-site training session.
